Our Story
SS Splendor is a cutting-edge podcast musical designed to bring together a new audience made up of podcast listeners, mystery aficionados, and musical theatre enthusiasts.
From the start, secrets plague the Connelly family’s cruise ship vacation. Exploring themes of coming of age, mental health, family, and clinical anxiety, this dark comedy tells a relatable, human story through the context of a dramatic supernatural mystery. Egos are tested, long-kept secrets are revealed, and nightmares come alive aboard a ship where "excess brings ecstasy". With all the odds stacked against her, our reluctant heroine must wield the strength of her imagination in order to defeat the demons--both internal and external--that threaten her dysfunctional family's survival.
